The National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 established as an aerospace research and development agency that sponsors and conducts flight mission to obtain data & objectives.

NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, flight mission range from suborbital projects to interplanetary probes & flagship observatories. An investigations & Missions selected & flown must respond to agency goals & strategic objectives.

Suborbital projects are

  • Ballon
  • Sounding rockets
  • Airplanes

Public announcement and selections are based on scientific & technical advantages. NASA also works closely with a number of other federal agencies to implement & support our flight missions.
